Volvo is adding more power, tech, and choice to its electric lineup for 2026, including major updates to the EX90 SUV and the US arrival of new EX30 models.
Leading the changes, the 2026 EX90 gains an 800-volt electrical architecture that significantly cuts charging times, while adding up to 155 miles of range in 10 minutes on a compatible fast charger. Every EX90 also receives upgraded Nvidia chips that allow Volvo to expand its driver-assist and safety suite.

On the smaller end of the range, Volvo has confirmed US pricing for the EX30 Single Motor, starting at $40,245. The compact electric SUV offers up to 261 miles of EPA-estimated range and can charge from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes.Volvo

Rounding out the 2026 lineup, Volvo adds a Black Edition styling package to the EX40, the first US all-electric model to offer the treatment. It can be paired with four exterior colors, including Onyx Black and Crystal White, for either monochrome or high-contrast looks.

Toyota Recalls Nearly 394,000 Trucks over Rearview Camera Failure
Software bug in the display may cause the image to go blank or distort.By Natalie NeffPublished: Oct 07, 2025 12:50 PM EDTSave Article

Toyota
Toyota is recalling approximately 393,838 vehicles in the US because rearview camera displays may fail, reducing backward visibility, and increasing crash risk, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The recall affects certain 2022–2025 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid models, as well as 2023–2025 Sequoia hybrids. The issue traces to a software bug in the 14-inch center display; under certain conditions, the screen may go “half green, full green, or full black,” making the rearview camera image unreadable when reversing.

Toyota will address the defect with a free dealer software update to restore normal display function. Owner notification letters are expected to be sent by late November 2025.
In a smaller recall, about 6,000 2025 Tacoma 4WD trucks are being examined for potentially faulty front driveshaft joints. In those cases, Toyota says the part may be made of an improper material and could deform or break while driving, possibly impairing turning ability or, in certain conditions, causing a vehicle to move even while in park if the parking brake is off. Dealers will inspect the driveshaft serial numbers and replace affected components free of charge.Toyota

For the bigger recall, Toyota says the defect “may not meet a federal safety standard” when the image fails while reversing. The software fix is expected to be a straightforward update.
For owners affected, the first step is to confirm whether your vehicle is on the recall list (via Toyota’s or NHTSA’s recall lookup), then schedule the free update as soon as it becomes available.
