The NCC said the case was based on information referred by the Australian Federal Police through the Philippine Internet Crimes Against Children Center.
According to reports, an Australian national in the custody of the Australian police for child abuse is found to be coordinating with a Filipino “facilitator” to obtain child sexual abuse or exploitation materials in exchange for money, using social media platforms.
“The public is continuously encouraged to report any suspicious activities related to Osaec and Csaem through the official Facebook page of the PNP Women and Children Protection Center,” the NCC said. /cb
