HUMBOLDT, Calif. — A woman reported missing from Florida may currently be in Humboldt after a couple claimed they picked her up in Miranda on May 9 and drove her to Eureka, according to American Corporate Security Investigations, Inc.
Autum Ledbetter, 22, last spoke with her family on April 9 when shecalled her father at LAX pleading for a flight from LAX to Miami that was to leave an hour later at 11 a.m.
Her father could not purchase the ticketbecause it was within an hour of takeoff, so Ledbetter hung up crying and no word has been heard of her whereabouts since until May 14.
The couple who picked Ledbetter up on May 9 said they dropped her off near the Starbucks on Fifth and E Street in Eureka. They said it was approximately 4 p.m.
Ledbetter was last seen wearing Marten type boots and dark red pants with a dark long sleeve shirt. She was also carrying a backpack “like you would see hikers use,” according to the Miranda couple.
During the time she was missing, Ledbetter received confirmation of being accepted to an international entertainment group, Up With People, and does not know about it yet. ACSI is hoping that if Ledbetter was told she was accepted, it might be enough for her to stop running.
According toACSI, Ledbetter has a small misdemeanor charge in Florida that she’s worried about, which why they think she’s running. A source told them they thought she was trying to find a marijuana trimming job in California. She is believed to be bi-polar, but hasn’t been professionally diagnosed,ACSI said.

With Donald Trump expanding the travel ban inspired by his first term in the White House to 20 more countries, as well as the Palestinian Authority, on Dec. 16, a total of 39 countries from different corners of the world now face either a total ban or restrictions on entering the United States.
Mali, South Sudan, Niger, Burkina Faso, Syria, and the Palestinian Authority have been added to the list of nations whose citizens cannot enter the U.S. at all, first introduced in June.
Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Dominica, Gabon, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Tonga, Zambia, and Zimbabwe were meanwhile added to a list of countries facing a block on student and business visas; the list that Trump put in place in June 2025 previously included Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
“Completely and permanently prohibiting the issuance of visas to all U.S. citizens”
Immediately after their nations were added to the ban, multiple diplomats and heads of state responded with condemnation. Antiguan Prime Minister Gaston Browne issued a statement saying that the Caribbean country’s government was “deeply disappointed” given that the justification accusing it of loose rules for granting citizenship by investment “does not reflect the present reality of our laws.”
Two weeks after the expansion of the ban, the West African nation of Niger has taken the most drastic step of permanently banning any granting of new visas to U.S. visas in a reciprocal measure until the situation changes.

“Niger is completely and permanently prohibiting the issuance of visas to all U.S. citizens and indefinitely banning entry to its territory for nationals of the United States,” a governmental representative said to the Associated Press.
A landlocked country bordered by Algeria, Libya, Chad, Nigeria, Benin, Mali and Burkina Faso, Niger is a Muslim-majority nation with a population of just over 25 million people. In the document announcing the travel ban, the White House said the country has a visa overstay rate of 13.41% for business visas and 16.46% for student ones as well as “terrorists and their supporters [that] are active in planning kidnappings.”
Another African country pulled all visas for Americans earlier this year
While a history of war and political instability and coups d’états means that travel into Niger from Western countries remains very low (the State Department has kept it at the “do not travel” advisory level for years), the latest move from its government is a major escalation in relations.
A similar move was made by the government of Chad when the first version of the travel ban was introduced. In response to being included, the central African nation reciprocated by saying it will ban all new visas for U.S. citizens while also stop any still being processed.

“I have instructed the government to act in accordance with the principles of reciprocity and to suspend the granting of visas to citizens of the United States of America,” Chad’s President Mahamat Idriss Deby wrote in a Facebook post announcing the decision on June 5.

The President of the United States has a long, controversial history with the National Football League.
President Trump, 79, has often called out the NFL. While President Trump is a football fan, he appears to still hold a grudge over the NFL not letting him buy the Buffalo Bills. Many of President Trump’s supporters are NFL die-hards, of course, so he can’t go too hard after the league.
But back in 2017, President Trump threatened to boycott the NFL, over the national anthem protests.
“If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our country, you will see change take place fast,” President Trump wrote on social media. “Fire or suspend!”
President Trump isn’t done making threats to the NFL.
The President of the United States has made it clear that he’s not a fan of the league choosing Bad Bunny for its Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show performer. President Trump is warning the NFL that he could make things difficult for the league if it continues to upset him with picks like that.
Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rico native, has been critical of President Trump and his immigration policies.
President Trump sends ‘warning’ to NFL over Bad Bunny
The President of the United States is warning the NFL to think twice about partnering with someone like Bad Bunny.
During an interview on Newsmax, a TV host described Bad Bunny as someone who “hates ICE” and “accuses everything he does not like of racism.”
President Trump seemingly agreed, warning the NFL.

“I never heard of him. I don’t know who he is,” President Trump said.
He added, “I don’t know why they’re doing it, it’s crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter that they hired. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”
The NFL is standing by its pick for now, despite being warned about it by President Trump.
