Entitled’ Woman Busted For Doing THIS in Upscale Neighborhood

Moment ‘drunk rich girl’ in Tesla gets pulled over for DUI – and unleashes barrage of abuse on cops including telling them ‘my father owns an island’

  • Dash cam footage captured the dramatic arrest of a ‘drunk’ tesla-driver
  • Stephanie Bloodworth, 24, told police they were on her father’s property as they tried to arrest her on the secluded Florida Keys islandĀ
  • As cops handcuffed her she said: ‘Can I call my father? He owns the island’

By MARTHA WILLIAMS, US NEWS REPORTER

A young Florida woman who fled from police arrest in her Tesla begged cops to let her father – who she said ‘owns the island’ – come and rescue her.

Stephanie Bloodworth, then 24, was pulled over in February 2022 for speeding around her Florida island in a Tesla because the cop suspected she might have been driving under the influence.

Bloodworth, who studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City, was caught on dash cam as she was initially pulled over after cops received a reckless driving report on North Bahama drive in Duck Key, Florida.

She ‘refused to comply’ with the arrest, according to the officer, and is heard telling the cop ‘I own this island’ as she got behind the wheel and sped away.

A female officer arrived at the scene to help with the arrest and together they tried to restrain Bloodworth as she kicked and screamed while sobbing on the phone with her dad.

The female officer told the spoilt girl: ‘This is what happens when you flee and then you kick me’ as the girl sobs lying face down on the ground.

Bloodworth responded: ‘Can I call my father? He owns the island.’

She’s heard repeatedly telling cops they need to talk to her father because they’re on ‘his property’. She said ‘I need my dad here before you do anything to me’ to which the officer responded ‘no that’s not how this works you’re 24 years old.’

Duck Key – the island that Bloodworth claimed her father owns – is a small secluded island and an unincorporated community in Monroe County, Florida in the middle Florida Keys with a population of around 750.

When her dad finally arrived at the scene he said: ‘Stephanie you have to calm down’ and told her this was happening because she had been drinking and speeding.

He told his daughter: ‘Now the way that you’ve acted you’ve gotten yourself in a deep hole and now they’re gonna take you to jail.’

Mr. Bloodworth said: ‘There’s nothing I can do. I’ll get down there and see you when I can. But you can’t start acting out it’s just gonna get worse.’

One of the cops told her father ‘I am so happy that she didn’t kill someone. It’s a blessing in disguise.’

Bloodworth was taken to the police station for a sobriety evaluation where she was caught on CCTV struggling to complete the breathalizer test at around 9 pm.

The 24-year old was charged for resisting an officer, fleeing police, a DUI, and a moving traffic violation for reckless driving.

According to court documents, Bloodworth was incarcerated in the Monroe County Detention facility in Key West. The papers stated that she had significant substance abuse issues which she wished to immediately address by entering the Jail Incarceration Program.

Bloodworth posted bonds for three charges including resisting an officer ($30,000), fleeing the police ($50,000) and a DUI ($30,000).

Court documents obtained by DailyMail.com showed that Bloodworth received special permission to leave the country despite being on probation because she had a Royal Caribbean Cruise to go on.

DailyMail.com has contacted Bloodworth for comment.

Victory: Broward County Officers Not Entitled to Qualified Immunity for Arresting Innocent Woman in Case of Mistaken Identity

Lawsuit against officers who overlooked obvious evidence they were arresting the wrong woman can move forward

Jennifer Heath Box stands outside Broward County Jail, where she spent three days in a case of mistaken identity in December 2022.

MIAMI—On Wednesday, United States District Court Judge Melissa Damian ruled a Texas woman’s lawsuit against the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and several deputies of the department for a 2022 mistaken identity arrest can move forward. Judge Damian denied the county’s motion to dismiss the case brought by Jennifer Heath Box and her attorneys from the Institute for Justice (IJ), meaning Jennifer’s case can move forward.

In the opinion, Judge Damian wrote that it violates the Fourth Amendment to put the wrong person in jail when there are ā€œobservable differences between the individual and the person described in the warrant and there was plenty of time for officers to verify the identity of the person being arrested but the officers ignored red flags and arrested the person anyways.ā€

The court also ruled that the deputies are not entitled to qualified immunity, a legal doctrine that shields government officials from being held liable when they violate someone’s rights unless that right is ā€œclearly established.ā€

ā€œThis Court finds that Eleventh Circuit case law provides several materially similar decisions that would provide the Deputies a fair warning that their conduct was unlawful,ā€ the opinion reads.

Jennifer was arrested getting off a cruise ship in Port Everglades following a family trip on Christmas Eve 2022, and spent three days in jail, before finally being released. Police had a warrant for a different Jennifer—Jennifer Delcarmen Heath—who was 23 years younger; five inches shorter; and had a different hair color, eye color, skin tone, social security number, and home address. Deputies Peter Peraza, Monica Jean, Jasmine Hines and Anthony Thorpe all at various points overlooked the evidence on the warrant which proved they had the wrong Jennifer, but moved forward with the arrest and detention anyway.

ā€œThis whole experience has been traumatizing, so I’m very happy that my lawsuit can move forward and I can finally seek justice for what happened to me,ā€ said Jennifer. ā€œWhen I was in jail, nobody would listen to me that they had arrested the wrong person, and now it feels like somebody is finally listening.ā€

ā€œWednesday’s decision makes it clear that when police overlook obvious evidence that they’re arresting the wrong person, they’ll be held accountable,ā€ said IJ Attorney Jared McClain. ā€œAnyone who looked at Jennifer should have been able to tell she was not the person police wanted.ā€

Jennifer and IJ filed the lawsuit last September, seeking to hold the officers responsible for her arrest accountable.

Update: Entitled woman texts a “list of requirements” to no-contact sister-in-law, demanding to stay at her home on her birthday: ‘You are not staying at my house. You are not invited’

What would you do if a random family member texted you with a list of 5 demands they have for staying at your house? That’s what this person is dealing with when their totally delulu sister-in-law messaged them out of the blue.

Staying at someone else’s home, even a family member’s place, requires a decent amount of planning. The host has to wash sheets and blankets, make beds, clean bathrooms, buy extra food, make sure they have enough dishes for everyone. And once the guest is there, it’s polite to help out with that extra cooking and cleaning as a sign of gratitude towards the host. Even when it’s your family, it’s pretty common to abide by these rules, right? That’s why it’s so odd — and amusing to the rest of us reading the tale — that this person’s sister-in-law decided to text out of the blue with 5 demands for her visit.

A few caveats. The sister-in-law is not invited. She isn’t even welcome! She’s been in a no-contact situation with this person for over a year, yet suddenly, she announces that she’s visiting next Saturday. She’d also like her bedding to be washed in a specific detergent, and she “needs” a king or queen size bed because “I need a lot of room when I sleep.” Uh… okay then…

Not to mention that the SIL wants to visit on this person’s birthday! She wants to move the birthday celebrations around in order to accommodate her visit. Like I said, totally delulu behavior!

Commenters urged this person to act like they didn’t know which number was messaging them in the first place. I mean, if you’re no-contact with someone for an entire year and then they suddenly message to see if they can stay with you, I think the automatic reaction is one of confusion. A message replying something like, “Hey, I think you meant to send this to someone else,” might be effective. It lets that person know that you’re confused and you’re not going to put up with any ridiculousness.

This person didn’t choose to go that route, but you can check out the absolute insanity down below, as well as their update when this hapless traveler SIL finally replied. Hope the SIL has plans to get a hotel or Airbnb instead, because she’s certainly not staying with family!

  1. All prisoners shall be treated with the respect due to their inherent dignity and value as human beings.
  2. There shall be no discrimination on the grounds of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
  3. It is, however, desirable to respect the religious beliefs and cultural precepts of the group to which prisoners belong, whenever local conditions so require.
  4. The responsibility of prisons for the custody of prisoners and for the protection of society against crime shall be discharged in keeping with a State’s other social objectives and its fundamental responsibilities for promoting the well-being and development of all members of society.
  5. Except for those limitations that are demonstrably necessitated by the fact of incarceration, all prisoners shall retain the human rights and fundamental freedoms set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and, where the State concerned is a party, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Optional Protocol thereto, as well as such other rights as are set out in other United Nations covenants.
  6. All prisoners shall have the right to take part in cultural activities and education aimed at the full development of the human personality.
  7. Efforts addressed to the abolition of solitary confinement as a punishment, or to the restriction of its use, should be undertaken and encouraged.
  8. Conditions shall be created enabling prisoners to undertake meaningful remunerated employment which will facilitate their reintegration into the country’s labour market and permit them to contribute to their own financial support and to that of their families.
  9. Prisoners shall have access to the health services available in the country without discrimination on the grounds of their legal situation.
  10. With the participation and help of the community and social institutions, and with due regard to the interests of victims, favourable conditions shall be created for the reintegration of the ex-prisoner into society under the best possible conditions.
  11. The above Principles shall be applied impartially.
