Lindsey Kaye Dinsdale, 36, is in the Benton County Jail for suspicion of DUI.

Authorities say they were first alerted about a possible drunk driver Monday night.

After an investigation, officers say they arrested Dinsdale on suspicion of driving under the influence.

They drove Dinsdale to the hospital for a legal blood draw, they say she then kicked one of the officers in the chest.

Police say the officer was not injured because he was wearing a bullet proof vest, and was able to minimize the blow from the kick.

KPD says Dinsdale was eventually booked into the Benton County Jail for suspicion of DUI, she’s also on an investigative hold for assault in the third degree.

Police say a New Mexico woman put up quite a fight with police when they tried to arrest her for a DWI. The women kicked an officer, and at one point, she also tried to give cops a lesson in the law.

Towery-Alvillar: “Please, babe. I’m not even kidding. I’m not drunk. These n***** set me up!”

Albuquerque Police say they were responding to a car accident near Coors and Ellison, last week.

Police say Shaela Towery-Alvillar was behind the wheel and hit a parked car.

A criminal complaint says officers placed her in cuffs when they smelled alcohol, but she didn’t take that too well.

Officer: “Stop resisting!”

Towery-Alvillar: “Are you seriously handcuffing me?”

 Officer: “Stop resisting!”

When officers finally got her into custody, Towery-Alvillar gave them a hard time as they tried to read her her rights.

Officer: “Can you listen a minute?”

 Towery-Alvillar: “Yes, I will.”

Officer: “Okay, I’m going to read you your rights. You have the right to remain silent…”

However, the 18-year old refused to stay put and threw a temper tantrum.

When police tried to reason with her again, they say she got violent.

Officer: “Stop kicking me. Stop kicking me.”

 Towery-Alvillar: “Stop, please!”

Officer: “Stop kicking me.”

Police say she continued to kick and banged her head inside the police car, so they placed a restraint on her head.

She hated that too, but seemed more concerned about the status of her car.

Towery-Alvillar: “Where’s my car!? Where’s my car?!”

When police got the station, Towery-Alvillar decided it was time to try and lay down the law.

Towery-Alvillar: “And guess what?”

 Officer: “What’s that?”

Towery-Alvillar: “One cop is only supposed to restrain one person, you realize that?”

Officer: “Nope, actually it’s not true at all. But, thank you for revising my policies.”

She then tried to explain her violent behavior.

Towery-Alvillar: “I was having a seizure in the car, foaming out of my mouth, and no one would help me. That’s why I was screaming in the car. Do you realize that? I was having a seizure in the car.”

Both officers didn’t buy it.

Officer: “I’m just curious because I didn’t see any foam when I came back and checked on you.”

Towery-Alvillar is charged with aggravated DWI and battery on a peace officer.

Back in December, she was charged with shoplifting.

Drunk NJ sisters allegedly attack airline worker, arrested after having meltdown

The sunburned sisters who were kicked off a Frontier flight before they allegedly assaulted an airport employee during a drunken meltdown claim they were not intoxicated and did nothing wrong during the now-viral incident that caused the younger sibling to miss her college graduation.

Kiera Lyons and Maura Flores were booted off the New Jersey-bound flight following a three-day trip to Disney World when a flight attendant accused the sisters of being too drunk to fly at Orlando International Airport on May 15.

“I was not drunk getting on the plane.” “I wasn’t drunk either,” both of the sisters told Inside Edition during an interview released Wednesday.

Lyons, a former college field hockey player at Stockton University who suffers from celiac disease, said she was feeling unwell and went to the bathroom before takeoff.

When the then 22-year-old returned to her seat, a flight attendant confronted her and deemed her unable to fly.

“She was like, ‘Have you been drinking?’ I was like ‘yeah, I had a couple of drinks,” and she’s like ‘yeah, you can’t fly,’” the now-23-year-old said. “That’s when I automatically asked for my sister.”

The sisters were accused of shoving one of the gate agents, who was captured lying on the jet bridge floor as the siblings were removed from the flight.

“She pushed me and then turned around and the sister came up and shoved me again, which I tripped over,” the unidentified gate agent told police, according to bodycam footage.

The sisters disputed the story and claimed they never touched the gate agent, who had allegedly fallen on her own.

Several witnesses supported the airport employee’s account and the sisters were arrested, sparking a wild meltdown in the terminal.

“We didn’t know what was going on,” Flores said. “Why are you arresting her? Their answer was ‘she had more witnesses than you.’”

Flores, a 31-year-old mother of two, became erratic as they were being questioned in the terminal and attempted to stop police from handcuffing her younger sister.

“Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?” Flores cried as officers detained her.

During the arrest, Flores continued screaming and demanding police remove her handcuffs as she was placed in the back of a patrol car.

Lyons’ time behind bars overlapped with the Stockton University graduation on May 16.

“No, I did not. I did not make it to my graduation. I was still in Orange County jail while my friends were walking at graduation,” Lyons said.

“We aren’t these people as we are being made out to be,” the sisters said.

The misdemeanor charges against the sisters were dropped after they completed a pre-trial intervention (PTI) that included community service and a fee payment.
