ENGLEWOOD, Fla. (CBS12) — A man in central Florida admitted to making nude video calls to unsuspecting strangers.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office arrested Adam Smith, 35, on three counts of indecent exposure.

The investigation began in February when detectives received at least three reports from victims who received the video calls from an unknown man.
The victims told detectives the man made lewd gestures on camera while in the nude.

Naked man on drugs falsely claimed he planted bomb in Daytona Beach airport: Police
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Authorities have released body camera footage showing a bizarre incident in which a naked man was subdued with a stun gun and taken into custody at a Florida airport before allegedly claiming that there was a bomb in the bathroom.
The footage showed several officers looking for the man in the baggage claim area of Daytona Beach International Airport just after 6 a.m. local time Friday. The suspect jumped onto the baggage claim carousel, and officers ordered him to get on the ground.
After the man failed to comply and the officers issued repeated warnings, he was subdued with a stun gun.
The man can be heard in the video telling officers that he had taken the drug Molly.
In a news conference after the incident, Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said the suspect later claimed to deputies that there was a bomb in the building, saying, “We’ve got to get out of here, the bomb’s going to go off. I planted a bomb in the bathroom.”
The body camera footage that was released did not include audio of that alleged comment.
Investigators found a wall in a women’s bathroom that was under construction that appeared to have been dug into. A bomb squad responded and found a bag containing the suspect’s clothes but no evidence of explosives.
Chitwood identified the suspect as 25-year-old John T. Greenwood, a “frequent flyer [who] is well-known to law enforcement entities in Daytona Beach.” Greenwood had been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer in 2007 and had filed seven reports about his car and home being burglarized. Greenwood had undergone involuntarily mental health examinations under the Baker Act twice, Chitwood said.
Greenwood, who was hospitalized after the incident, has been charged with burglary, false reporting concerning planting a bomb, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and exposure of sexual organs.
Approximately 225 passengers were temporarily displaced while the bomb squad swept the airport, which resumed operations later in the day, according to airport spokesperson Jay Cassens.
Naked man arrested in Charlotte County, accused of charging deputy and threatening bystanders
A man, completely naked, was arrested Saturday in Englewood after being accused of charging at a deputy and threatening bystanders, including a woman with a baby.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area of Placida Road and Florida Avenue on reports of a naked man in public yelling profanities and threatening to harm a woman who was carrying a baby.
Officers arrived at the scene and found 40-year-old Justin Groover Miller completely naked and yelling at unknown subjects.
Miller refused to acknowledge deputies and adhere to commands. While ignoring deputies, Miller continued to walk through a public park and towards San Casa Drive on Placida Road, says CCSO.
According to deputies, Miller ran towards a Dollar General in the area when he observed deputies approaching.
Deputies followed Miller into the store and tased him twice after he failed to follow verbal commands. Miller managed to escape and began running through the Dollar General parking lot, exposing himself completely to other patrons, including children.
At this time, Miller charged directly towards a deputy on the scene and forcibly ran through the officer.
Miller was taken into custody soon after for resisting with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and exposure of sexual organs to the public.
