On June 2, 2023, a fatal shooting rocked a close-knit Florida community.
A shooting that devastated but didn’t entirely surprise some of the neighbors who knew Ajike Owens, a 35-year-old mother of four, and the woman who shot her, Susan Lorincz.
“I came outside and her son was literally gasping for air, telling me that his mother had been shot by the lady across the street,” Phyllis Wills told NBC affiliate WESH days later. “I knew who it was immediately.”
Lorincz is now serving a 25-year prison sentence for manslaughter, and the events leading up to the killing are chronicled in the unusual Netflix documentary The Perfect Neighbor. In a twist from the more common after-the-fact analysis, the story is told almost entirely through law enforcement body cam footage, 911 audio, cell phone video, ring cams and sheriff’s office CCTV.
“There’s no reporter on the ground,” director Geeta Gandbhir told the Los Angeles Times. “There’s no one influencing what’s happening in the neighborhood, other than the police who are coming in and asking questions. I felt that made the footage and the story undeniable.”

And there was so much body cam footage because the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received numerous complaints from Lorincz about neighborhood kids trespassing, making too much noise or otherwise bothering her numerous times in the year before she killed Owens.

Owens’ children “just come up to me and scream like idiots,” Lorincz alleged to sheriff’s deputies during a visit to her home about six months before the shooting. “Finally I lost my nerve today, I couldn’t take it anymore. I called the kids r—–s. Then the mother comes screaming at me, ‘Don’t call my children r—-ds, I’m going to put you in a nursing home!'”
“I don’t bug anybody,” Lorincz continued. “I’m a single woman…I work from home, I’m peaceful. I’m like the perfect neighbor, you barely ever see me.”

This is the shocking moment a vicious ‘Karen’ had a huge meltdown during a DUI stop as she launched a racially-charged attack on a cop.
Christina Laboy, 46, screamed and ranted at the officers after they let her off for suspected drunk driving at more than 100mph in Palm Beach County, Florida.
The exchange began calm and courteous, but quickly soured with Laboy descending into vile expletive insults and branded the black cop ‘George Floyd‘.
She begged with officers to let her go, explaining she was in the area for her son’s football game, and also tells them she had a glass of wine.
One of the officers can be heard saying: ‘You were going well over 100 miles per hour and you’re swerving all over the road.’
The cop probed her further and conducted a roadside sobriety test, during which she failed to walk in a straight line, telling officers she is ‘clumsy’.
Eventually, the officer tells Laboy she has indicators of being impaired but not enough for him to warrant arresting her and he is going to ‘let it slide’.
Shockingly, she responded: ‘I don’t know if it’s a black and white factor here cause you guys play that card.’
The comment causes the other officer on the scene, a female, to hit back at her saying: ‘That’s so disrespectful, on so many levels.’

Laboy backs away to her vehicle and grabs her phone where she starts filming the two officers.
She says: ‘I’m gonna record it, George Floyd yup. Don’t you dare disrespect me. You don’t know who I am but you’re about to find out.’

Having already called her son to come and pick her up, she tells him: ‘This little b**** wants to talk s*** to me and as soon as I started recording she shut her mouth.’
Laboy then screams at the two officers and unloads in a expletive laden rant.
At one point she screams: ‘You don’t f****** know me bitch. You little b****. I have a good heart.’
Going back to her phone call with her son, Laboy tells him: ‘I’m so sick of this f****** shit.
‘This b**** whenever she’s f****** Spanish, talking s*** to my face. F****** America, you’re the f****** minority as a White motherf*****.’
She then proceeds to directly threaten the female officer, saying: ‘F*** the s*** on you, you little f****** douchebag.’
The male officer can be seen slapping the cuffs on her as she quickly changes her tune, taking on an apologetic tone and asking them to stop.

As she is led into the back of the cop car, Laboy then accuses the male officer of sexually harassing her.
He warns her: ‘Have a seat or your going to be tased. You’re making it worse, have a seat.’
After much back and forth, she is eventually forced into the back of the vehicle after kicking out at the two officer.
The male officer says: ‘She can get one count of battery, one count of resist and one count of corruption by threat.’
Her young son later appears on the scene to get her and cell phone from the vehicle.
The officer can be heard asking him: ‘I’m assuming that she’s not normally like that it’s just because of the alcohol or whatever.’
The son responds: ‘I don’t even know what to say, I came here for the football’, the two share a fist bump as the son leaves the scene.
A later clip shows the officers taking Laboy inside a police station to be booked, in which her racist remarks continue.

‘You’re the garbage motherf*****. I was fine before that b**** got in my face.’
Other officers enter the booking area, and she then starts shouting at them also, saying: ‘It’s funny because I am the only white person.
‘It’s everything to do with the color of my skin. I’m not answering nothing’, she is then led away to be booked as the clip ends.
DailyMail.com has approached Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for comment on what charges were brought against her.
Since the video was recently shared online, the woman has been slammed for her actions.
One person said: ‘What a horrible, horrible person. And this has absolutely nothing to do with alcohol. This is 100% who she is.’
Another commented on her dress sense, a black bra and see through top, writing: ‘In your 40s and wearing that to your kid’s football game, LMAO.’
One other commented: ‘Never wanted to see someone get tazed more. He was wrong about cutting her a break on the DUI. Her poor son.’
